The best way to avoid this is have 2 copies of gta, set gta not to update unless launched, when their is an update swap game folder names so the vanilla copy gets the update. Now I am forced to wait for whenever ScriptHookV is updated which really sucks.
Still not sure why I was unable to roll back my game version without this issue occuring. Only this time when I went to launch the game when Rackstar Games Launcher opened it said that It is unable to launch and to verify game files or something like that After hours of trying to find ways to get it to work I gave up. After this update I rolled back both the game version and Rage Plugin Hook so everything was compatable. I alwyas back up every version of not only GTA but Rage Plugin Hook just in case.
